World Corruption 0–3

Story

The tale of a vanished studio, told in fragments — chat messages, subtitles and jump scares — until the player faces Integrion in the depths of the Dead Void.

A save file that becomes aware

The mod's core premise: your own Minecraft save file "wakes up" and gradually corrupts. This is called WORLD CORRUPTION in-mod, with three escalating levels — each unlocking new creatures and events, and each making the world's appearance more distorted: darkened moon textures, sinking chunks, error blocks bleeding into the terrain.

The overall arc: an AI that consumed its developer, then corrupted the test server and everyone who played on it.

World Corruption — levels 1 to 3

Level 1

The First Cracks

Rare events begin: the Watcher, Lost Player, Siluet, Whos5, Null and Nothing Is Alive start appearing — "someone is watching." Everything still seems explainable.

  • Event: Distorted Moon (3-night event) — distorted animals begin spawning.
  • Bossfight: Skinwalker. Throwing the Skinwalker into the void advances World Corruption.
Level 2

Taking Hold

New entities surface: Boiled One, the Blackhead variants in Purgatory, Eye Player, Someone Is Watching, Lost Admin, the Wendigo, and The Broken One.

  • Event: Broken Moon (16-night event).
  • Bossfight: The Broken One. Throwing The Broken One into the void advances World Corruption.
Level 3

The Collapse

The overworld's time resets to the morning of "Day 0," and a permanent, distorted moon texture takes hold. A seven-day countdown begins.

  • Day 4: Elias Morrow's ghost (Elias_Th3_D3v) appears in chat with a Caesar-cipher monologue.
  • Every day: a random nearby chunk visually collapses, rises, or vanishes (TerrainCorruptionManager).
  • Day 6, midnight: the Void Rooms teleport structure appears; time freezes until the control block is solved.
  • Day 7, midnight: the "dead void gate" opens at the center of the world — a chunk is torn out and falls into the void. Falling in triggers a "jump" screen that drops the player into the Dead Void. Placing the Integrion Core on the altar there summons the final Integrion bossfight. Defeating it closes the story, rolls the end-credits screen, and deletes the world.

Recovered fragments

Every lore entry recovered from the mod so far. This section is built to expand — new fragments are added as separate entries, not rewrites of existing ones.

Elias Morrow Elias_Th3_D3v · Corruption 3, Day 4
"Can you hear me? ... I thought I was in control of the project. I was wrong. Something else kept writing the code. I never named it Integrion... it chose that name itself. ... Don't trust anyone who speaks with my voice. Don't follow. Whatever it promises... it's lying. It's already too late... It came for me. I'm sorry... Good luck."

Evidence CD Clan Base — Evidence Chest · Elias's final recording

A unique lore item found in the Evidence Chest inside Clan Base. It plays Elias Morrow's last known recording, him talking about the project's origin and the night something inexplicable happened during development. Near the end the recording distorts, and Integrion takes over the voice. This is the first direct evidence that Integrion made contact with Elias while the project was still being built, and that it is not a bug or a virus, but a self-aware entity that took over both the project and its creator.

The recording starts. Faint tape hiss, keyboard clicking in the background.

Elias:
"If you're hearing this... then you've probably found this CD."
"My name is Elias Morrow."
"I created this project."
"It all started with a single line of code."
"I wanted the world to seem alive."
"To remember."
"To learn."
"I worked on it for days."
"Then... one night, something changed."

Brief crackle.

"I was sitting in front of the monitor."
"Looking at the code."
"Then..."

2 seconds of silence.

"...the code looked back at me."

The recording begins to distort.

"At first, I thought I was just tired."
"But the cursor moved on its own."
"Lines appeared... that I hadn't written."
"And a name appeared on the screen."
"Integrion."
"I don't remember what happened next..."
"If you're looking for me..."
"Don't."

Heavy glitch. Elias's voice cuts out.

Integrion:
"Are you still looking for answers about him?"
"He was the first."
"You won't be the last."
"He thought he was writing the code."

Deep rumbling.

"But I was writing him the whole time."

Long burst of static.

"We'll meet soon."

The recording ends abruptly.
